What the Forest Holds
Deep in the woods where light filters through ancient branches, the forest floor tells stories of transformation. This woven wall piece captures that sacred space - moss-covered earth, weathered bone, mushrooms emerging from decay, all woven together in earth’s quiet palette.
Hand-woven with a rich mix of hand-dyed and hand-spun fibers in shades ranging from charcoal and slate blue through moss green, golden ochre, and earthy browns. Textured roving creates dimensional forest floor depth, while vintage sari silk and natural rope add organic complexity. Real bone crosses at the center, with hand-painted 3D printed mushrooms (made from biodegradable PHA filament) throughout.
Hung from natural Maine driftwood with varied strand lengths creating organic movement.
